Dr Hasanein Al-Hasani
Dr Hasanein Al-Hasani MBBS BSc FRCR PGCert (Clin Rad) is a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in general diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures.
Dr Al-Hasani qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2011 and went on to complete his general and specialist radiology training across Surrey and London (King’s & UCH) in 2021. He is a member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists (BSSR) and remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and procedural excellence.
His clinical practice focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging alongside a wide range of ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal interventions, including procedures related to the head, spine, upper limbs and lower limbs.
In his current role as a consultant, he serves as Clinical Lead for Ultrasound as well as Governance and Quality Lead. He is passionate about service development, innovation, and ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centred imaging services. He also has an additional specialist interest in head and neck imaging.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he is actively involved in education and training; he regularly teaches on local radiology courses and works closely with GPs and hospital clinicians to support collaborative care and outstanding outcomes for patients.
Ms Fatin Mohsin
Fatin Mohsin, the Founder Clinician of Apex Ultrasound, has been working within both the NHS and the private sector for nearly two decades. She obtained her DMU and MSc degrees in Medical Ultrasound from the Imperial College, London, and a further PgC in Medical Ultrasound from King’s College, London.
Additionally, Fatin is a member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society, holding basic accreditation from the Society of Vascular Technology of Great Britain, and possesses an NT accreditation from the Fetal Medicine Foundation.
Fatin was appointed as Senior Clinical Ultrasound Specialist at Kingston Hospital in 2012. Apart from her work life, Fatin enjoys spending time with her two young boys and walking their little mischievous Pomeranian.
Mr Didar Alam
Dr Didar Alam holds a Diploma in Cardiovascular Sciences and is Certified by the European Association of Cardiovascular imaging.
As a specialist Echo scientist, Dr Alam is trained to acquire and report high quality echocardiograms in paediatric, adult congenital and adult population using advanced techniques of doppler, 3D and strain analysis.
Having worked in some of the best hospitals around the world, including NHS and private sectors, while still associated with one of the top NHS trusts in cardiac speciality, Dr Alam offers a vast experience of performing standard scans according to the BSE and EACVI guidelines.
